The main purpose of the visiting wineries is to find importers/distributors for their wines in South East Asia.

Consorzio Vino Chianti, http://www.consorziovinochianti.it/en/ The Consorzio Vino Chianti (Chianti Wine Consortium) was formed in 1927 by a group of winegrowers from the provinces of Florence, Siena, Arezzo and Pistoia. Today, 3,000 producers, who occupy over 15,500 hectares of vineyards and produce 800,000 hectolitres of Chianti of different zones and types, are protected by the Consortium.
